    Speaker: Jan Jones

Jan Jones is a professional speaker and consultant with a passion for developing and motivating others. She collaborates with organizations across the country to enhance leadership and equip employees with tools for success. Her ability to connect with audiences results in an inspired team ready to achieve greatness within their organizations. Jan’s energy and expertise are sure to deliver a fun-filled, results-driven, impactful learning experience.

Jan’s enthusiasm stems from her zest for life and the relationships that play a pivotal role in her own development. She knows that “people need people” and her life is exemplary of this fact. Relationships drive cultures, which drive results, which is why her desire to engage people in everything they do, from work to home to community, propels her focus to make the greatest contribution she can for the time she is given. Jan knows just how much of a gift time is because she was granted this gift when she received a double-organ transplant a few years ago and believes that anyone can inspire change. This is a driver for her determination to set people up for success. Her focus on motivation and purpose-filled productivity helps people be their “best selves.” Jan is a graduate of the University of Alabama and is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. She holds certifications in “Crucial Conversations” (Vital Smarts), “The 5 Choices to Extraordinary Productivity” (Franklin Covey), and “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” (Franklin Covey).

Start the new year off right by joining ATD Birmingham and your fellow talent and development peers at our Spring networking social. You’ll be able to connect with other members of the talent development community while enjoying hors d'oeuvres and some great locally brewed beer at Red Hills Brewing Company.

It’s a great chance to get out of your office (home or otherwise), step away from all forms of technology (including your cell phone), and make valuable connections with others looking to exchange ideas, talk about best practices or just take a break from your daily to-do list. Whether you have a specific goal in mind, or just see value in making deeper connections in our local talent development community, this event is for you.

This event is open to all ATD membership levels at no charge and guests are welcomed with a nominal fee. Please register each attendee in advance.
