About the Job Board

The Greater Birmingham ASTD job board is free to all job seekers and to employers targeting workplace learning and performance professionals. To post a job, please e-mail job information to:

Primary focus will be the facilitation of training programs. Conduct needs assessments for training.  Design and develop training courses and related materials.  Advertise and promote training courses throughout Jefferson County. Manage course registration, develop roster, and set up the computer lab and/or classroom to facilitate the training.  Lead course instruction. Review course evaluation forms and evaluate training courses.  Promote and represent the PBJC training department and their services.

Founded in 1954, The Greater Birmingham Chapter of ASTD (American Society for Training and Development) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with approximately 100 members. The Greater Birmingham Chapter of ASTD is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors drawn from the general membership. The Greater Birmingham Chapter of ASTD is dedicated to enhancing workplace learning and performance for its members and their affiliated organizations.
